Vince Murdock

Murdock, a graduate of Lapeer West High School in Lapeer, Michigan, played football and wrestled during high school. Post-graduation, his involvement in MMA wasn’t necessarily his plan more than it was a reason to continue to train hard to achieve a goal.

“One of my buddies from my high school wrestling team was going to MMA practice and I went with him to try it out,” Murdock says. “I had been involved with physical contact sports my whole life up to that point, and I just didn’t feel like I was done competing. I was so accustomed to showing up to practice something that I just kept going back. It seemed natural, like the right thing to do.

Progressing through the amateur circuit and then turning pro in 2012, Murdock credits UFC lightweight competitor Daron Cruickshank for providing guidance and helping him develop more skill as a fighter. Now in his second year fighting professionally, Murdock has his sights set on continuing to improve his craft while entraining his fans.

“I’ve been able to turn my passion into my profession,” he adds. “And I want to keep putting on exciting fights and take [my career as a pro fighter] as far as I possibly can.”

“I’m not too big into supplements. But from what I know about P4, it’s clean and doesn’t contain a lot of junk or chemicals that I don’t need or want in my body. I take Pre Game Formula four or five times a week. When my energy is low and I haven’t had a lot of carbs … Pre Game really gets me going.”
